United should take from Continental, which it swallowed in the recent merger, Continental's courtesy and dedication to making the consumer experience pleasurable.
Ever since the merger Continental flyers are being treated like cannon fodder by surly, unfriendly, discourteous United personnel. The quick security lines of Continental are gone, replaced by United's clunky inefficient lines. Freqent flyer miles that stand for years of loyalty are being deflated by United's greed or desperation. United, take the long view: please your loyal customers and your future will improve.
