convert fleet to operate on biodiesel/renewables
Virgin has already flown using biodiesel. With the volatility of the fossil-fuel energy market and its effects on air travel, converting to renewable sources would be beneficial to both the company/industry and, of course, our environment

How about a little joy?
there's no more depressing airline than United (it syphoned off any fun to Ted and then smirked as Ted failed - offering validation that what people want is sour and resentful)

United should take from Continental, which it swallowed in the recent merger, Continental's courtesy and dedication to making the consumer experience pleasurable.
Ever since the merger Continental flyers are being treated like cannon fodder by surly, unfriendly, discourteous United personnel. The quick security lines of Continental are gone, replaced by United's clunky inefficient lines. Freqent flyer miles that stand for years of loyalty are being deflated by United's greed or desperation. United, take the long view: please your loyal customers and your future will improve.
