2012 hot wheels kmart collectors day
I was at todays collector event at Kmart as i have been faithfully since it started and with 20 cases to go through absolutely zero treasure hunts were pulled. Several collectors there said this was the year they are quitting due to mattels stupid idea about severely limiting the treasure hunts when in the past this was the one opportunity that gave all collectors the chance to get a treasure hunt out of the box for the retail cost. You have played right into the scabbers on ebay's hand by making most collectors have to turn to ebay to get the treasure hunts without falling way behind in attempting to assemble the collection of treasure hunts for the year. WHO'S Stupid idea was this anyway? I am quiting as well, i refuse to pay the kind of money the scabbers on ebay want to get the hunts in my collection.

Mattel should go back to the old system of guaranteeing a treasure hunt in every box at the kmart hot wheels collectors day event. It was good the way it was so why have they made it so hard to get a treasure hunt on this special collectors day? As far as i could tell they lost about half of the collectors they had for so long by making this stupid change. I will never go to another event at kmart because it was very dissapointing for everyone. If they think the interest in the hot wheels had dropped before this just wait for the ripple effect that this is going to cause. Lots of pissed off collectors i spoke with today said they are through with it after todays turn of events! STUPID!!!!
