Google uses lots of electricity and has made strides in funding alternative energy sources. These efforts need to be redoubled and speeded up.

Google needs to continue funding wind farms and solar farms for electricity generation. They could also contribute financially to R&D efforts that would lower the energy consumption of servers and reduce the need to cool servers.

yeah i totally agree with this, and I'd also like to add that since Google is letting companies test their stuff in their campuses, google should also work closely with them to find out how the companies could tailor their products to work best with Google's infrastructure. When it comes down to corporation application of sustainable technology, it's how well a corporation's infrastructure harnesses alternative feed that saves more energy than simply the level of efficiency of the alternate energy technology.

(continued from last comment) If the sustainable tech companies were able gather this kind of data they could figure out the best ways that corporations could make use of sustainable tech, sustainable tech can be distributed and employed this much quicker and easier.
