Greener and more sustainable
I think it is critical that as Facebook is now a business serving in excess of 800+ million members worldwide and a heavy user of energy/electricity/power - going forward, it must strive to find smarter, greener and more efficient solutions to power their global business. Image if they influenced their members to do the same...what an impact that could make. Are you listening in Palo Alto?

Facebook MUST get a significant chunk of it's energy from renewable resources. Twitter too
Your data centers and offices should get a significant amount of power from renewable energy and reduce your companies carbon foot print or I'm out.

get it's electricity from renewable resources and stop updating so much
it is anoying how facebook updates so often and every site should get it's power from renewable resources thus being able to reduce our dependence on coal fired power plants

Facebook is a passive goliath
Despite it's global reach, Facebook is a couch potato when it comes to being socially involved in helping to improve the world. Is there a single cause they have gotten behind, other than trying to maximize their future stock price?

Facebook! Leave breastfeeding alone.
Facebook has a policy that supports and encourages the posting of breastfeeding pictures. But they cannot seem to keep their staff from removing these pictures and suspending accounts. They need to fix this problem. And until it is fixed they need to assign staffers who can help people get their photos back up and their accounts reinstated immediately.
